cage sex!

So hilarious. When I asked for prompts a while back, marenfic suggested Blayne/Xander (the other virgin student in the cages with Xander at the mercy of the Preying Mantis lady from from "Teacher's Pet", s1). And I thought, yeah! I've never read Blayne/Xander, having sex in the cages so that the Mantis lady won't get them! Blayne & Xander, frottage, all the way! Awkward teen boy-sex!

Except of course that the scenario has been written, and by none other than my dear crazydiamondsue. Best Laid Plans (Blayne/Xander, R).

One of my first "go to" slash fics to get the job done *cough* involved Xander, Buffy and Willow being held by some demon who needed them to be virgins. Angel shows up at Xander's cell to de-virginize him. When Xander asks why can't Buffy and Willow de-virginize him, Angel says they are saving each other. I think I still have that fic printed out in my "this is the box my porn buddy must remove from my house in the event that I die before my mother can fid it" box.

Oh. my. god.

How badly do I want to read that story right now? Of course Angel must de-virginize Xander. Of course. Yes. *tries to read over your shoulder*

PORNBOX! It's like the SNL's Al Gore debating and saying "lockbox", but soooooo much better.

I pulled out the pages, and cannot find the fic anywhere online. I'll retype it at some point simply for your purposes and email the author about it.

The story is "The Virgin Tree" by Siubhan.
It has one of my favorite Xander lines in any fic:

Angel: "Look, are you ready?"
Xander: ""Ready as I'll ever be to be deflowered by a male vampire while locked up in a cell awaiting virgin sacrifice."

I remember this story! It was around during my *first* brush with Buffy fandom, right after the show premiered.

"The Virgin Tree" and an Angel/Xander written just after "The Pack" aired were my happy place for weeks.

Sorry, I'll just go on with my happy nostalgia.

Oooh, now I'm curious about that other fic as well. :D

I wish it were online. It was posted to a mailing list at the time--not a publicly archived one, just one made up of "people who are friends with Person X, who started the list"; it sort of resembled LJ, in a way. I don't think it ever got archived anywhere, because I think Angel wasn't actually a vampire in it (ah, the joys of being Jossed).

I'll have to poke the author and see if she has a copy anywhere. It was a really *good* story. I was all about the Angel/Xander at the time. (I was all about the Angel/Giles, too. Then I realized I could cut out the middleman, and it was goodbye, Angel. ;) )

Oh, so fascinating -- before anyone knew Angel was a vampire, of course. Sounds like a great read.

Haha, totally -- Giles/Xander, wheee! I'll happily read anyone Xander, though; I'm just a Xander-slut that way. Um. I'm sure that comes as a complete shock.

I'm stunned by that shocking revelation. Stunned, I tell you!

See, with one glaring exception, I'm like that with Giles pairings. And if the fic's good, I will read anyone with Xander. (There is, however, no Giles/Xander story so awful that I wouldn't read it if I had a link and the time.)

That's why it's always so interesting to me to hear about 'shippers, who will only read Xander with Giles, or Giles with Wesley. For me it's more that experience of fixating (er, I tried to come up with a more elegant term -- focusing? but that's perhaps not as forthright *g*) on a particular character and those multiple pairings of which she or he can be part.

So yes, Xander/everyone for me, Giles/everyone for you -- that I completely understand!

There are a few particular Xander pairings that I absolutely can't be choosy about if I want to read them. Dawn/Xander -- I've read nearly all of it, and let me tell you, some of that fic is wacky stuff. But still. Dawn/Xander! :)

Yeah, exactly. I mean, yes, there are pairings that I prefer to read (or write, but I'm more limited in what I feel comfortable writing than what I read), but if you look at them, they tend to be pairings involving two characters I love. It's not the ship, per se; it's the fact that there are *two* characters I love madly. (So, for example, I like Giles/Xander better than either Giles or Xander paired with Spike, because I adore Giles and I adore Xander, but only mildly like Spike.)

Or you could photocopy it!

I'm trying to search around now at advanced engines, and yeah, nothing so far. But that line -- totally hooked already. :)

Thank for that link to Sue's fic. It is perfect.

Welcome! Wasn't it fun? I was so happy to have discovered it last night.

Hee! That is a good line.

More Kitten fic definitely, though not likely to be today. Darn meetings. So hard to write prOn during them, I find. ;)

Hey, it's a pretty thought to try sex in a cage!
May be I'll try it once. Happy New Year!
